SOpHiSM: A Response to Online Hate Speech through the Enhancement of High-Quality Professional and Citizen Journalism - Seminar

SOpHiSM continues its activities in order to contribute to the public debate on tackling hate speech, both online and offline. As part of the educational initiatives of the program, seminars were held in which the issue of hate speech was thoroughly discussed, and relevant educational material was disseminated to the participants. In order to disseminate information about hate speech as much as possible, SoPHiSM offers an interactive version of this educational material, through which each interested party will be able to easily, quickly, and based on his / her own interests, navigate the information offered by this program. The interactive version of the educational material can be found in this section (Education) and more specifically in the drop-down menu that is activated as soon as you click on the Education menu. In this "sub-menu" you can find the sections "Theoretical Background of Hate Speech", "Strategies for Dealing with Hate Speech" and the "Guide for Journalists".
